Özet

The purpose of this research is to show the relationship between the music lesson attributions and school burnout levels. The sample of this research consisted of 577 students studying at 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades in Antalya. "Music Lesson Attribution Scale", "School Burnout Scale" and "Personal Information Form" which was prepared by the researcher were used in the study. The results demonstrated negative and low level correlations between the subjects' music lesson attributions and school burnout levels. Significant correlations are highlighted in the study. Also, it was observed that attribution of music lesson and school exhaustion predicted for each other, mutually. Multiple Regression Analysis demonstrated that the most important factor explaining the music lesson attribution levels of the students was observed to be the depersonalization and personal accomplishment levels on their school burnout. Moreover, it was observed that the most important factor explaining the school burnout levels of the students was the attributions made to the music lesson learning environment in the music lesson attributions.
