I am an Associate Professor of Space Sciences and Technologies and a deep-tech entrepreneur operating at the convergence of advanced geospatial data analytics, satellite remote sensing, and cultural heritage preservation.

My career is driven by a singular philosophy: shifting the focus from mere outputs to high-quality, impactful processes that deliver rigorous, long-term solutions.

With a Ph.D. from ETH Zurich and an academic foundation built on dual engineering disciplines, my expertise spans advanced satellite radar data analytics (InSAR), LiDAR point cloud processing, and the development of open-source spatial data architectures.

As the founder of ETEN R&D, I bridge the gap between cutting-edge academic research and industrial application, providing high-level consultancy for critical infrastructure and environmental risk monitoring.

Our citizen-science and remote-sensing framework was honored with the Europa Nostra Award 2026 (Citizens’ Engagement & Awareness-raising) for pioneering work in assessing earthquake damage to cultural heritage sites, demonstrating how advanced space technologies can directly serve and protect human history.

Beyond the lab and the commercial sphere, I am dedicated to fostering international scientific exchange, leading national professional commissions, and exploring the timeless depths of classical music and cultural history.
