Lect. PhD MUSTAFA TERZİOĞLU

PhD. Mustafa Terzioğlu is a Lecturer in the Department of Accounting and Taxation at Akdeniz University’s Korkuteli Vocational School, where he has been serving since 2005. He completed his PhD in Business Administration at the Institute of Social Sciences, Süleyman Demirel University, and his research lies at the intersection of business finance, accounting, and economics, with a particular focus on the measurement and prediction of financial performance, the relationship between sustainability/ESG indicators and financial outcomes, and machine learning–based modeling approaches. His scholarly work contributes to both national and international literature in areas such as predicting ROA and ROE, evaluating corporate governance and sustainability signals using explainable artificial intelligence methods (e.g., SHAP), forecasting energy and environmental indicators, and conducting sector-based financial analysis applications. In his teaching, he has delivered undergraduate and associate-degree courses including Financial Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Financial Statements and Auditing, Financial Management, Financial Statement Analysis, and Accounting Applications. His academic administrative experience includes serving as Head of Department (2011–2018; 2019–2021) and as a member of the Vocational School Executive Board (2014–2021).
