Assoc. Prof. FIRAT YÜCEL

Dr. Yucel received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electronics and Computer Education from Suleyman Demirel University (Isparta, TR) and the PhD degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Pamukkale University (Denizli, TR) in 2005, 2008 and 2015, respectively. He also received a BSc degree in Computer Engineering from Karadeniz Technical University (Trabzon, TR) in 2021. He received the title of Associate Professor in Electrical & Electronics Engineering in 2023. He has been working as a faculty member in the Department of Informatics at Akdeniz University (Antalya, TR) since 2009. He also worked as a visiting associate professor and a postdoctoral research scholar in the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, OH, USA) between October 2023 and July 2025. His current research interests include MOS based analog circuits, computer-aided automation systems, wireless sensor networks, soft robotics and AI based optimization. He has served as a reviewer for a lot of international journals and several scientific projects. He is the author or co-author of many papers published in scientific journals or conference proceedings.
