Assoc. Prof. FIRAT YÜCEL

Dr. Yucel received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electronics and computer education from Suleyman Demirel University (Isparta, TR) and the PhD degree in electrical & electronics engineering from Pamukkale University (Denizli, TR) in 2005, 2008 and 2015, respectively. He also received the BSc degree in computer engineering from Karadeniz Technical University (Trabzon, TR) in 2021. He received the title of Associate Professor in electrical & electronics engineering in 2023. He has been working as a faculty member in the Department of Informatics at Akdeniz University (Antalya, TR) since 2009. He has currently been working as a visiting associate professor and a postdoctoral research scholar in the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, OH, USA) since October 2023. His current research interests include MOS based analog circuits, computer-aided automation systems, wireless sensor networks, soft robotics and AI based optimization. He has served as a reviewer for a lot of international journals and several scientific projects. He is the author or co-author of many papers published in scientific journals or conference proceedings.
