Özet:

In this study, the three-way interactive effect of two components of destination image as cognitive and affective image attitude components and place attachment of the residents on the overall destination image perception is analyzed. The hypotheses tested by using moderate regression analyzes using data from a sample of Antalya residents (locals and resident foreigners) (N= 210). Findings show that the highest destination image perception among resident foreigners was found in people with high cognitive image perception, low affective image perception and low place attachment, and the lowest image perception was found in people with low cognitive and affective image perception and high place attachment. In this study, for the first time, the interactive effects of two different groups (locals and resident foreigners) on destination image attitude components and place attachment on overall destination image perception were analyzed.
