Özet

In concrete technology, the application of fuzzy logic (FL) offers a suitable tool for modeling systems that realize uncertain states and conditions. Mechanical and durability properties of concrete are contingent upon the proportions of water, cement, and aggregates, as well as the conditions during casting. Traditional techniques can not develop a precise model based on these parameters. FL’s solution uses “if-then” logic to express the relationship between parameters. This approach provides a more accurate predictive capability than traditional material design and quality assessment methodologies. Moreover, research conducted with FL on the formulation of cement-based mixtures enables the expeditious estimation of their sustainability and the rapid prediction of their strength and durability. In this study, the applicability of the FL method in rarely used fiber-reinforced cementitious composites was evaluated by taking into account the findings obtained from the studies in the literature.
