Özet

In this study, the work named Kitab-i Garibi by Turdi Nazim, one of the representatives of Uyghur literature in the 19th century, was examined in terms of phonetics and morphology. The analysed work was first translated into Latin letters with transcription. Later, the words were indexed for phonological and morphological analysis. The manuscript of Turdi Nazim, who used the pseudonym Garibi, has not been found yet. The work we analyzed was published in Y. Avid Aranyan's the printing house which was run in the city of Shumen in Bulgaria, in H.1320 (1902-1903) and met with its reader. The Kitab-i Garibi is a work that needs to be analyzed in terms of both phonetically and morphologically. Especially the sound changes in the text have increased the importance of the work for those who are interested in the Turkish language. Although Turdi Nazim calls his work Kitab-i Garibi, there is a record of "Ottuz Ekki E.nafi. Gep Talasani" at the beginning of the book. Therefore, in the text, the quarrels of people from thirty-two professions are included. These discussions reveal Turdi Nazim's poetry talent. The work was written in the meter of prostate feulun / feulun / feulun / feul. The poet's comprehensive knowledge of prosody increased the value of the work once again. We can include the language of the work in the last period of Chagatay Turkish. We think that it is important that the poet included his own dialect features in his work, both as a structure and as a vocabulary.
