Transmittance and reflection dependence of monstera leaf on moisture content has been investigated at X-band. In measurement campaign, forward transmission and forward reflection coefficients S-21 and S-11 have been observed with respect to the change of moisture content within the leaf. It is found that transmittance is strongly dependent on the moisture content; however, reflection is almost independent of the moisture content, which implies that most of the electrical power is absorbed within the water content of the leaf.
