Özet
Dichelobacter nodosus, a Gram-negative strict anaerobe, is the essential causative agent of ovine footrot. Despite its worldwide presence, the disease has significant economic impact in those sheep-farming countries with a temperate climate and moderate to high rainfall, such as New Zealand (NZ) and Australia.
