© 2022 Author(s).The results of evaluating the capabilities of glasses containing different ratios of yttrium oxide Y2O3 and manganese oxide MnO2 in relation to gamma radiation using the Phy-X software and the Geant4 simulation code in the energy range from 0.1218 to 1.4580 MeV. The results of calculations of the mass attenuation coefficient and the half-attenuation layer for the studied glass samples are presented.
