Özet

Batı felsefesi temelinde öncül olarak yer tutan ve mantık biçimi olarak
düşünceyi şekillendiren Batı Mitolojisi gibi, Türk felsefesi için Türk mitolojisinin
kaynak olup olamayacağı, temeline yerleşip yerleşemeyeceği, ele
alınsa dahi üstünde yapılan çalışmaların boyutu ve bu durumun metodolojik
açıdan nasıl bir fayda sağlayacağı önemlidir. Türk felsefesi için
mitoloji sahasını belirlememek, Türk düşüncesini İslam sonrası bir sahaya
etkileşim olarak hapsedip kendine özgü bir ontoloji ve epistemoloji iddiası
olmaması anlamına gelecektir. İşte bu makalede bu sorunlar üzerinde düşünme
gerekliliği ele alınmıştır.

Can The Turkish Mythology be the Premise of the Turkish
Philosophy?
Western Mythology establishes the premises of Western Philosophy
and shapes its thought forms. From that perspective, it can be thought
that Turkish Mythology can constitute the sources and premises of Turkish
philosophy. If so, whether it holds importance and relevance in terms of its
methodology and quality is of particular importance. Any attempt to draw
boundaries of Turkish Philosophy means to limit it into a place where nothing
happened before Islam and it means to assert that there is, therefore,
no unique ontological and epistemological traits of Turkish Philosophy.
