Abstract

Industry 4.0 continue to change the knowledge and skills of Accounting and Finance (AF) employees. The aim of the study is to evaluate the reflections of AF skills, which have changed with industry 4.0, to businesses and to examine the training areas that employees receive. For this purpose, the training areas, knowledge and skills of AF employees were examined from the LinkedIn corporate page of the 50 companies with the highest large-scale financial performance in the period of May-August 2021. As a result of the study, it was determined that the development experienced with industry 4.0 had a low effect on the Soft Skills (SS) and data analytics skills of AF employees. AF employees mostly stated English, management, teamwork, analytical skills and project management skills as SS. For those with data analytics skills, estimation, data analysis, financial statistics, and financial modeling skills were identified.
