The aim of the study is to determine the attitudes of 6th, 7th and 8th grade primary school students towards learning foreign languages. For this purpose, a 40 item scale on attitudes to learning foreign languages was developed. In this context, psychometric characteristics and the findings of the scale were evaluated by carrying out the attitude scale on 247 students studying in three primary schools in the province of Antalya. To determine the validity of the scale, exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses were carried out. In addition, alpha coefficient was calculated to specify the reliability of the scale. As a result, according to the exploratory factor analysis and first order and second order confirmatory factor analysis, it can be said that Attitude Scale towards Foreign Language is a valid model for Turkish primary school students and it can make reliable measurements.
