Özet

An integrated RES and Battery energy storage system will be introduced to improve dynamic and transient stability and transmission capacity. The aim is to develop a control strategy for optimal use of RES and BESS. The study also examined energy management, operation control methods, and application examples of battery energy storage systems. As a grid-level application for energy management systems, real-time integration of a battery energy storage system and RES in grid control centers has been achieved. Some study cases are presented in which RES and BESS have been tested. Application scenarios such as power grid frequency tuning and power flow optimization are presented. In addition, in the study integrating RES and BESS into the power system, certain features support the voltage in electrical networks. Integrating RES and BESS units with optimum power factors has been shown to reduce energy loss, increase voltage stability, and provide primary frequency control.
