The objective of this study is to observe and examine the impact of the economic crisis of 2018, reflected in an increase in the prices of agricultural inputs, on the systems of production, exploitation and cultivation in Turkey. In order to ensure the representativeness of the study population, the main primary data of this study were collected through 134 questionnaires from farms in the Konya and Antalya regions in 2018. The results show that, during the crisis period, 54% of producers changed their system: 34,2% of producers reduced the amount of inputs used, 14.2% their production capacity; 19.2%, on the other hand, preferred to switch to crops likely to require less inputs. The study revealed that the level of education, agriculture as the main function and contract production were found to be factors influencing decisions about changes in production systems in response to the economic crisis.
