This study was carried out to determine the chemical composition and meat yield of Vimba (Vimba vimba tenella) caught from Karacaoren I Dam Lake. The average water content, crude protein, crude fat and crude ash were determined to be 77.96 % +/- 1.66, 15.30 % +/- 0.79, 2.41 % +/- 0.57 and 1.28 % +/- 0.21 respectively.
