Abstract
Primary small cell carcinomas of the kidney are rare, locally aggressive and fatal neoplasms. Approximately half of the reported cases show combined features of transitional cell carcinoma. We reported an unusual case of primary small cell carcinoma of the kidney and studied with light microscopy, immunohistochemistry and flow cytometry. (C) 2003 Elsevier Science Inc.
