Özet

At Konyaaltı Beach, Antalya, HDP pipes were laid approximately 400 meters offshore to receive water from the sea. Concrete piers were used for weighing these pipes. Many of these piers fell due to movement and displacement of the pipe during winter storms. During our scuba dives in this region, the concrete piers that fell from the pipe were retrieved from where they fell and two artificial reef prototypes were built at a depth of 20 and 21 meters. This research aims to identify the fish species that settle in these artificial reef prototypes. The fish that settle in the artificial reef models belong to the families Holocentridae, Serranidae, Scorpaenidae, Sigaenidae, Muraenidae and Monacanthidae. Our research indicates that the Red Sea migrants predominate in terms of the number of families and species of fish occupying the artificial reefs.
