Abstract

The mechanism by which cadmium (Cd) induces hypertension is not known definitely despite several explanatory hypotheses. In this experimental study to enlighten the unexplained points male albino rats exposed to 15 ppm Cd in their drinking water for 30 days, and the changes of the tissue response to a dilator hormone, were investigated in rats with Cd induced mild hypertension.
