11 Temmuz – 29 Ağustos 2016 tarihleri arasında sürdürülen 2016 yılı çalışmalarında Batı Agora, Batı Agora kıyısında henüz tanımlanamayan yapı (Meclis Binası?), Likya Yapısı, Nereidler Anıtı, Güneydoğu Sektör ve Vespasianus Kapısı’nda bilimsel araştırmalar; Likya Akropolü olarak adlandırılan alanın içinde ve dışında, Batı Agora etrafında, Nereidler Anıtı civarında ve nekropol alanında moloz toprak temizliği ve çevre düzenlemesi çalışmalarının yürütülmesi tasarlanmıştır. Maddi kaynak yetersizliği ve bazı ekip üyelerinin katılamaması nedeni ile Meclis Binası, Nereidler Anıtı ve Güneydoğu Sektör’de bilimsel araştırmaya, Nereidler Anıtı, Likya Akropolü girişi, Batı Agora Çevresi ve Nekropol’de moloz ve bitki temizliğine yönelik bir çalışma gerçekleştirilememiştir.

In the course of the 2016 studies conducted between July 11 and August 29, scientific surveys were planned for the Western Agora, the yet to be identified building (Parliament Hall?) on the edge of the Western Agora, the Lycian Building, the Monument of Nereids, the Southeastern Sector, and the Gate of Vespasian. In addition, debris cleanup and environmental organization were planned inside and outside of the area named the Lycian Acropolis, around the Western Agora, near the Monument of Nereids, and in the necropolis. Due to a lack of financial resources and the inability of some team members to join the studies, no activity could be carried out for cleaning the weeds and rubble at the Parliament Hall, the entrance of the Lycian Acropolis, the area around the Western Agora, and the necropolis
