Abstract

 The basic focus of our study is to propose an influential matrix method to find the numerical solution of the nonlinear Lane-Emden-type functional differential equation (LEFDE). This method based on the first type shifted Chebyshev polynomials transforms the problem into an algebraic matrix equation by using operational matrices and the Tau method. In addition, three test examples are presented for applicability of the proposed method. The application of the method and the graphics are obtained by using MATLAB.
