Plants come to the fore with their nutritional properties. In addition to its nutritional properties, it is also known to have medicinal properties. In this study, antioxidant, oxidant and antimicrobial activi-ties of the aerial parts of Rumex scutatus L. collected from Antalya province were determined. In addition, the phenolic contents of the plant were determined. The above-ground parts of the plant were extracted with ethanol and water. Then, antioxidant and oxi-dant status were determined using Rel Assay kits. Antimicrobial activities were determined against standard bacterial and fungal strains by agar dilution method. Phenolic contents were measured in HPLC device. As a result of the studies, it was determined that the plant has high antioxidant activity. It also showed high activity especially against gram nega-tive bacteria. In addition, Catechin, Epicatechin, Chlorogenic acid, Sinapic acid, Qumaric acid and Benzoic acid were detected in the plant. As a result, R. scutatus was determined to have significant bio-logical activity. It is also thought to be an important source in terms of the compounds detected in its body.
