Citrus fruits, which are becoming increasingly important in the agricultural sector, are popular worldwide and in Turkey because of their rich species and variety, very long harvest period, very long storage period, suitability for transportation, and use as an industrial raw material. They are a product group consisting of rare fruits that are subject to production, consumption, industry, and trade. This study aims to reveal the socio-economic structures of agricultural enterprises producing citrus fruit in Antalya province, to determine the problems faced by producers, and to suggest solutions for these problems. The primary data of the study consists of face-to-face surveys conducted with citrus producers in the Finike, Kumluca, and Aksu districts of Antalya province between January and May 2022. The surveys were conducted in 110 enterprises determined by stratified random sampling based on the citrus production areas in the enterprises. The most important reasons for citrus farming in the research are that it is popular in the region and there is information about citrus production. The main problems faced by producers in citrus production in the enterprises are the annual increase in input costs, followed by the insufficient organization of producers and the lack of an effective marketing organization, respectively. The solutions offered by the producers to address these problems are: supporting basic inputs, encouraging research to increase productivity and quality, increasing state support for production and marketing, and acting as an intermediary institution between the producer and the buyer.
