Özet

Objectives: Since the civil war in Syria began, millions of Syrians have left the country and been forced to migrate to other countries. Turkey is the country with the most refugees hosting 3.6 million refugees. This study aimed to compare the PIM-3 score, PELOD-2 score, PELOD-2 predicted death rate (PDR), mortality rates, demographic data, and outcomes of patients admitted to pediatric intensive care units between refugee children living in Turkey, pediatric patients brought directly from the border by the emergency services, and the general Turkish population.
