Abstract
The notion of a mu-smooth point of a L-p-function phi and a family of truncated hypersingular integrals depending on a parameter epsilon are introduced. Then the connection between the order of mu-smoothness of the function phi and the rate of convergence of the family of truncated hypersingular integrals to phi, when epsilon tends to 0, is obtained.
