Abstract

Catechol oxidase (CO), Glutamate-oxalacetate transaminase (GOT), Acid phosphatase (HP), Indophenol oxidase (IPO), Leucine aminopeptidase (LAP), Malate dehydrogenase (MDH) and Peroxidase (PER) enzymes extracted from leaves and fruits of seven rig cultivars were examined to molecular identification and genetic relationships among cultivars. CO and PER had the highest polymorphism both in fruits and leaves for this reason they were more suitable than other enzyme systems for cultivar identification. Cluster analysis results indicated that Beyaz Orak cultivar was quite distinct from the other cultivars.
