In this study, for spectroscopic determination about when amethysts are empurpled, the depreciation in SiO4 tetrahedrons of the radiation and valence number of especially ferrous that is one of the impurity elements, the graphics of the natural and radiation excited examples and the differences in these graphics are studied comparatively. The data supplied from the survey reveal that the violet purple coloration of amethyst is related with monadic and/or combined impurities of Fe, Al, and Ti elements which are in SiO4 tetrahedrons, and also an addition gamma excitation. Conclusion of the interaction, absorption bands are 480-530 nm sized and generated in amethysts bring about purple coloration. In addition, the colour diversities which are seen among the purple-blue amethysts are related with wideness of the main absorption bands caused by mainly gamma excitation. In order to be increased the allurement of amethyst crystals gamma radiation is given additively in laboratory environment. This is very dangerous for human healthy. Holding these kinds of amethysts in our hands for a long time may cause infecting the gamma radiation to our skin. According to the results of the scientific studies, the amethyst crystals can reversibly absorb the gamma radiation penetrating to human body, after expanded from television, computer, mobile phones etc. However, the absorbance of the gamma irradiation from the human bodies must be only used the amethysts bleached in laboratory environment (annealing operation). Since, a purple coloured crystal is already saturated in terms of gamma radiation, so it is certain that this crystal will spread instead the gamma irradiation of absorbance of it.
