Reproduction and causes of infertility in Anatolian cow in Turkey

Abstract

Anatolian cows housed in small barns were examined for infertility problems. The total incidence was noticed to be 44.70%. The conception rates are 68.5 and 51.2% in cows and heifers at first service respectively. The incidence of delayed ovulation, cyctic ovarian diseases, subestrus, long estrus, repeat breeders, nonreturn without conception rates, returns in 11±2 days after Al, returns in 35-120 days after Al, abortion rates and estrus signs in pregnancy were recorded and discussed.
