Abstract

Purpose: Stoma is a surgical intervention that negatively affects the quality of life and adaptation to social life. The problems experienced by patients with stoma negatively affect the quality of life especially in the postoperative first weeks. Many kinds of nursing interventions to ensure adaptation to social life and to increase the quality of life.
