Özet

The aim of this study is to investigate the organic facies characteristics of the Miocene Units in Northern Manavgat (Antalya), Turkey. The study area is located in the Western Central section of the Taurus Belt. Miocene units mainly consist of three formations which are Upper Burdigalian-Langhian Oymapinar Limestone, Langhian Geceleme Formation and Serravallian-Tortonian Karpuzcay Formation. The Units consist of sandstone, siltstone, claystone, limestone, clayey limestone and reef limestone.
