Özet

Migrant smuggling has gradually become widespread in recent years, and it is a form of smuggling based on unregistered high income. The study examines migrant smuggling social networks as a type of organized crime and its influence on Turkey. In the study, based on the data obtained from the website of the Presidency of Migration Management, the routes of migrant smuggling over Turkey, the way it is done, and the number and nationalities of irregular migrants were presented in details. In addition, the data were collected by reviewing the relevant literature and descriptively analyzed.
