Abstract
Background/objective Xanthogranulomatous cholecystitis (XGC) is a rare inflammatory disease of the gallbladder characterized by a focal or diffuse destructive inflammatory process. The aim of this study was to identify the common clinical and surgical characteristics of XGC patients.
