Dig Sites of Stellar Archeology: Giant Stars in the Milkyway, İzmir, Türkiye, 4 - 06 Eylül 2013, ss.186-193
Radial velocity standards are the stars that are commonly used in investigations regarding radial velocity measurements, hence it is very important to understand their nature. We are investigating whether the high proper motion nature of some radial velocity standard stars has an effect on chemical structures of their photospheres. In this study, as a part of on-going M.Sc. research project, we present preliminary results on detailed abundance analysis of one F-type radial velocity standard star, HD 102870, that is also known as a high proper motion star in the literature.
