Bu çalışmasının amacı, gu¨nu¨mu¨zu¨n umut verici yapay zekâ tekniklerinden birisi olan Yapay Sinir Ağlarının eğitim alanında bir uygulamasını gerçekleştirmektir. Gerçekleştirilen uygulamada, ölçeğin psikometrik özelliklerinin belirlenmesinde yu¨ksek bir doğruluk oranı ile öngöru¨lmesine çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışmada kullanılan veriler, araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen yurttaşlık aidiyeti ölçeğinin (2007) verileridir. Araştırma ve uygulama sonucunda, yapay sinir ağlarının mimarileri, katman sayıları ve katmanlardaki hu¨cre sayıları, eğitim yöntemleri gibi parametrelerin ağın doğru çözu¨me yaklaşmasında ne kadar etkili olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Ölçekteki parametre değerinin ne olacağının öngöru¨lmesinde YSA’ların bir karar destek aracı olabileceği saptanmıştır.
The purpose of this study was to perform an application of Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) which is one of the promising Artificial Intelligence techniques nowadays in education sectors. In the application, it was tried to project to determine psychometric features of the scale with a high level truth. The dates used in this study are citizenship scale’s (2007) data which were develop by the researchers. As a result of this study we determined how affects these parameters such as the structure of ANN, number of layers in the ANN and artificial neurons in the layers, the training methods to reach the best solution. We have decided that ANNs can be used as a supplementary tool to predict future value and trend of the scale.
