Özet
Küresel ısınmayla birlikte her geçen gün azalan doğal kaynakların bilinçsiz kullanımı, su kaynaklarının giderek azalması ve tekstil sektöründe çok fazla su kullanılıyor olması, nüfus artışıyla birlikte gelişen sanayii ve teknolojinin hızlı modaya yansıyan olumsuz etkileri, tekstil kimyasallarındaki atıkların insan faktöründen dolayı çevrede bıraktığı zararlar gibi önemli konular, şimdi olduğu kadar gelecek nesilleri de tehdit etmektedir. Bu ana maddeler incelendiğinde tekstil ve moda endüstrisinde popüler kültürün dayattığı Hızlı Modanın (Fast Fashion) getirisi olan bilinçsiz tüketim çılgınlığının önüne geçilmesi için bu alanda önlemler alınması gerekmektedir. Hızlı modanın yarattığı çevresel, sosyolojik ve ekonomik zararların azaltılması adına, moda akımlarının yavaşlatılmasının yanı sıra, modanın doğru ve iyi anlamda sürdürülebilirliğinin önemi üzerinde yoğunlaşarak, duyarlı moda tasarımcısı kimliği altına ismini yazdırmayı amaç edinmiş tasarımcıların, sosyal sorumluluk bilinciyle farkındalık sergilemesi önemlidir. Bu sektörlerde üreticiler kadar tüketicilerin de görev ve sorumluluklarının olduğunun gündemden düşürülmemesi ve bu çerçevede insanların çocukluktan itibaren bilinçlendirilmesi gerekmektedir. Tekstil ve moda tasarımcıları, endüstri çağı ve teknolojinin getirileriyle birlikte, hızlı tüketime bağlı üretim sorunlarını düşünürken çevreye karşı duyarlı ve sorumlu tasarımlar yapılabilmesinin yanı sıra tekstil ile insan sağlığı ilişkisini de irdeleyerek, insan sağlığına uygun ürünler tasarlayabilme ve bunu, tasarımlarındaki güvenilirliği Ecolabel (Çevre Etiketi) ile tüketicilere anlatabilme zorunluluğunun olduğu bilinciyle hareket etmelidir. Bu farkındalıkla Yavaş Moda (Slow Fashion) kavramının, insan emeğine saygı çerçevesinde; organik malzeme ve el emeğine dayalı tekstil ve moda tasarımı uygulamalarında yavaş tasarım ilkesine bağlı Giyilebilir Sanat (Wearable Art) tasarımlarıyla söz sahibi olabilmek iyi bir tasarımcı adına önemli ve bir o kadar da geçerli olabilmektedir. Özellikle kullanılmış veya miadını doldurmuş, atık olarak nitelendirilen her türlü tekstil materyalini Redesigne/yeniden tasarım ve Upcycle/ileri tasarım prensipleriyle, tekstilde Sıfır Atık konusuna da vurgu yaparcasına düşünebilmek; yeri geldiğinde bu veri, teknik ve manipülasyonları meraklılarıyla paylaşarak, anlatarak, göstererek, uygulayabilmek tasarımcının bu kapsamdaki ilkeleri açısından son derece önemli ve olması gerekendir. Bu şekilde Etik Moda kavramına paralel yavaş moda ve yavaş tasarım hareketini tüm Tasar İlkeleriyle kreasyon ve koleksiyonlarına yansıtabilme becerisini ortaya koyabilen bir tekstil ve moda tasarımcısının, tekstil sektörünün çevreye bıraktığı olumsuz etkilerine bir nebze de olsa katkı sağlamasıyla, gelecek için duyarlı ve sorumlu davranışları taktir görmesinin yanında, yeni yetişen genç moda tasarımcıları tarafından da taklit ediliyor olacaktır.
Abstract
Important issues such as the unconscious use of natural resources, which are decreasing day by day with global warming, the gradual decrease in water resources and the fact that too much water is used in the textile sector, the negative effects of the industry and technology developing with population growth on fast fashion, and the damage caused by waste in textile chemicals to the environment due to the human factor, threatens future generations as much as it does now. When these main items are examined, precautions must be taken in this field to prevent the unconscious consumption frenzy that is the result of Fast Fashion imposed by popular culture in the textile and fashion industry. In order to reduce the environmental, sociological and economic damages caused by fast fashion, it is important for designers who aim to have their name written under the identity of sensitive fashion designer, to show awareness with social responsibility awareness, by focusing on the importance of slowing down fashion trends as well as the correct and good sustainability of fashion. It should not be forgotten that consumers as well as producers have duties and responsibilities in these sectors, and people should be made aware of this from childhood. While textile and fashion designers are considering production problems related to rapid consumption, with the benefits of the industrial age and technology, they can make environmentally sensitive and responsible designs, as well as being able to design products suitable for human health by examining the relationship between textiles and human health, and this with the reliability of their designs Ecolabel (Environmental Label). should act with the awareness that it is obligatory to explain it to consumers. With this awareness, the concept of Slow Fashion is developed within the framework of respect for human labor; It is important and valid for a good designer to have a say with Wearable Art designs based on the slow design principle in textile and fashion design applications based on organic materials and hand labor. To be able to consider all kinds of textile materials, especially those that are used or obsolete and are considered waste, with the principles of Redesigne and Upcycle/advanced design, as well as emphasizing the issue of Zero Waste in textiles; When necessary, being able to apply these data, techniques and manipulations by sharing, explaining and showing them with enthusiasts is extremely important and necessary in terms of the designer's principles in this context. In this way, a textile and fashion designer who can demonstrate the ability to reflect the slow fashion and slow design movement in line with the Ethical Fashion concept with all Design Principles in his creations and collections will be appreciated for his sensitive and responsible behavior for the future, as he will contribute to the negative effects of the textile industry on the environment, at least to some extent. It will also be imitated by emerging young fashion designers.
