This paper aims to conduct productivity and efficiency analyses for pomegranate production in the province of Antalya in Turkey. Data of the study were collected from the selected sample pomegranate farms, using questionnaires. The sample farms (75) were selected from population through a stratified random sampling method. Firstly, land, labour and total factor productivity indicators for pomegranate production were researched. Additionally, efficiency analyses were also done using data envelopment analysis method. As a result of the analysis, land productivity was found to be 19,696.8 kg ha(-1). Labour productivity, which is defined as gross production value divided by labour cost, was estimated to be TL 5.16. Total factor productivity shows that for each production cost of TL 1 in pomegranate production, the net return of enterprises is TL 0.23, which may be said to be relatively high. Efficiency analysis shows that the efficiency of pomegranate production can be significantly increased.
