To determine the effect of different lasalocid sodium levels on fattening performance and carcass characteristics of male kids, 40 German Fawn x Hair crossbred kids, (75% German Fawn, 25% Hair) divided into 4 groups, were fed on diets containing 0, 25, 50 or 75 mg lasalocid sodium per kg in groups A, B, C or D, respectively for 9 weeks. They were slaughtered at the end of this period. The carcasses were split in 5 anatomical regions by using Colomer-Rocher Standard Method. At the end of the study, there was significant difference among daily weight gain, feed efficiency, dressing percentage and some carcass characteristics of groups (p < 0.05). The kids in group D used feed more efficiently, grew faster and had some carcass characteristics which were better than others.
