Asiye adlı kadının hikayesini aktaran oyunlar ve oyunu izlemeye davet edilen bir dernek başkanının anlatıcıyla birlikte çözümleri tartıştığı konuşma bölümlerinden oluşan, Vasıf Öngören’in “Asiye Nasıl Kurtulur?” adlı oyunu, kadına dair pek çok meseleyi, topluma ayna tutarak cesurca yansıtmayı başaran bir oyundur. Bu sebeple odağına bu oyunu alan çalışmamızda, öncelikle oyunun sistematiği ve anlatım tekniğine bağlı kalınarak ilgili bölümler kısaca özetlenmiştir. Sonrasında ise çalışmamızın özünü oluşturan inceleme başlığı altında, oyundan yola çıkılarak bölümlere ayrılan temel sorunlar, hukuk, ticaret ve toplumsal cinsiyet perspektifinde derinleştirilerek eleştirel bir bakış açısıyla ele alınmıştır. Çalışmamızla amaçlanan, kadına yönelik ayrımcılık, sömürü ve şiddetin kaynağı olan çifte standartlarla örülü toplumsal cinsiyet kalıplarının yalnızca kadın için değil toplumdaki her birey için önemli bir sorun olduğunu ortaya koymaktır. Nitekim hak, hukuk ve adalet yerine eşitsizlikler üzerine kurulu bir toplumda, etik ve ahlak kuralları yerine kazanç ve çıkarı ilke edinen iş ve ticaret kültürüyle, eğitimden sağlığa, adaletten yaşam hakkına kadar temel haklara erişimi kısıtlanan kadınların kurtuluşunun şansa ve bireysel çabasına bağlı kılınması zihniyeti, fırsat eşitliği sunulmadığı ve samimi adımlar atılmadığı sürece eşitsizlikleri yeniden üretmeyi ve derinleştirmeyi sürdürecektir.
Vasıf Öngören's play "How to save Asiye?", which consists of plays that tell the story of a woman named Asiye and speech sections in which the president of an association invited to watch the play discusses solutions with the narrator, is a play that manages to boldly reflect many issues about women by holding a mirror to society. For this reason, in our study, which focuses on this play, firstly, the relevant sections are briefly summarised by adhering to the systematic and narrative technique of the play. Then, under the title of analysis, which constitutes the essence of our study, the main problems, which are divided into sections based on the play, are deepened in the perspective of law, commerce, and gender, and discussed from a critical point of view. The aim of our study is to reveal that gender stereotypes, which are the source of discrimination, exploitation, and violence against women, are a significant problem not only for women but also for every individual in society. As a matter of fact, in a society based on inequalities instead of rights, law and justice, with a business and commercial culture that adopts profit and interest as a principle instead of ethics and morality, the mentality of making the salvation of women, whose access to basic rights from education to health, justice to the right to life is restricted, dependent on luck and individual effort, will continue to reproduce and deepen inequalities unless equal opportunities are provided and sincere steps are taken.
