A total of 150 Common vetch genotypes collected from different countries and regions and two local varieties were studied in terms of 13 morphological and agronomical characteristics. Positive and statistically significant relationships were found between the seed yield and biologic yield, number of seeds per plant and spring vigor, number of pods per plant, seeds per pod, plant height, harvest index and number of leaflets per plant were also positively associated with the seed yield, the number of pods' per plant and biologic yield, between number of days to flower and plant height, between spring vigor and biologic yield. It appeard that biologic yield, number of seeds per plant, spring vigor and number of pods per plant characteristics might be useful to common vetch breeders for the indirect selection of seed yield during the early segregating generations when yield tests are conducted.
