Abstract

The goal of this study is to examine theoretically radiation absorption properties of zinc alumino bismuth borate (BZnAlBiSm) glasses with chemical formula 60B(2)O(3)-9ZnO-(30-x)Al2O3-xBi(2)O(3)-1Sm(2)O(3) where x = 5, 10, 15 and 20 mol%. The linear andmass attenuation coefficents of BZnAlBiSm glasses turn out as this trend BZnAlBiSm-1< BZnAlBiSm-2
