Abstract

Lumbar epidural catheters were introduced the patients in preoperative period in order to benefit from preemptive analgesia during the microsurgery that was used to obtain normal functional status of tissue loss in upper and lower extremities with autolog flap transfers, Bupivacain and morphine were applied by epidural catheter, This method of application of bupivacain and morphine was continued in peroperative period in addition to the low dose general anesthesia and postoperative period in order to decrease analgesia. We concluded that preemptive analgesia combined with low dose general anesthesia is more succesful than general anesthesia in autolog flap transfers.
