Özet
Türkiye represents a noteworthy tourism destination for the Muslim travel market. It is, however, widely acknowledged that the demand of the Muslim travel market is concentrated in cities such as Istanbul, Antalya, and Muğla, which are typically developed in the context of cultural tourism and sea, sand, and sun (CSS) tourism in Türkiye. In recent years, however, the Fırtına Valley destination has emerged as a potential alternative to these established tourist destinations. Fırtına Valley is a protected area, designated for its unique natural features, situated within the borders of Çamlıhemşin district in Rize province, located in the northeast of Türkiye. The research aimed to determine the profile of micro-scale accommodation enterprises in the Fırtına Valley region and to reveal the visitors’ evaluations of these accommodation enterprises. Quantitative and qualitative methods were employed concurrently in the research. The data were obtained from the survey method and Google tools, including Google Maps and Google Business Profile comments. As a result of the research, detailed findings were revealed about the profile of accommodation enterprises in Fırtına Valley.
