Abstract

Acide and alkaline phosphatases, ATPase, 5'-nucleotidase enzyme activities were significantly increased in epiphyseal cartilage of proliferative, hypertrophic and ossification zones according to the developmental age. The synovial membrane showed positive reaction for acide phosphatase, ATPase, 5'-nucleotidease enzymes but not alkaline phosphatase.
