Abstract

In this work, the double-differential neutron emission cross sections for n+209Bi reactions at an incident energy of 14.2 MeV at angles from 15 to 150 degrees were calculated using the HMS-ALICE-2011, TALYS 1.6 simulation model codes based on the unified Hauser-Feshbach and exciton model. The obtained theoretical results were compared with the existing the measured data taken from the EXFOR library around 14-15MeV. The results indicate that the calculated results are in good agreement with the measured data for all angles.
