The aim of this study was to determine the effects of different perch systems on morphological and chemical traits of tibia and femur bones in broilers. Control, horizontal perch, 10 angular perch, 20 degrees angular perch and 40 degrees angular perch systems were used in this study. There was found significant difference between the sexes (P < 0.01), but differences among the groups were not significant in respect to morphological and chemical traits of tibia and femur bones. As with sexes, the difference between the control and other groups was found significant in terms of tibia bone strength (P < 0.01). In addition, while there was found significant difference among the groups in point of tibia bone calcium and phosphorus contents, there was no difference in terms of dry matter and ash content.
