Abstract

In this particular study, I look at the theory behind teachers’ self-study as a specific research method with its benefits and drawbacks while specifically analyzing to what extent it may be helpful within our country. While doing that, I cite those research articles which have used self-study as a research method in curriculum inquiry. Furthermore, how individual practitioners may benefit from conducting self-studies in their professional development is discussed.
