Abstract

Aim: In this study, we investigated the diagnostic value of IMA in the positive and negative predictive value of ACS, alone and in combination with Tnl. The study population was divided into 3 groups. The first group included those patients with normal coronary arteries (n=40), the second group included the AC5 patients with ST segment elevation myocardial infarction (ST EM I) (n=49), and the third group included the ACS patients with Non ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction-Unstable Angina (NETEMI-UA) in=47). Although its use for diagnostic purposes did not provide an additional benefit for AC5 patients, we found that the combination of Tnl and IMA could better rule out ACE compared to Tnl alone
