Osmanlı Devletinin son dönemlerinde taşra yönetimlerince hazırlanıp merkezi idare tarafından onaylanan vilayet bütçeleri, yerelde sosyal ve ekonomik hayata dair çeşitli bilgiler içermektedir. Bu çalışmada Antalya vilayet bütçeleri 1914-1919 yıllarını kapsayacak şekilde araştırılmakta ve şehrin ekonomik ve sosyal yapısına ilişkin bilgiler verilmektedir. Bütçelerde gelirlerin ağırlıklı olarak vilayetin öz gelirleri ve merkezi yönetim gelirlerinden aktarılan paylar olduğu görülmektedir. Giderlerde ise vilayet idaresi halkın gereksinim duyduğu alanlara öncelik vermiş ve bu kapsamda eğitim, sağlık, ulaştırma ve ekonomik hizmetlere önemli miktarda ödenek ayırmıştır.
The provincial budgets, which were prepared by the local authorities in the last period of the Ottoman Empire and approved by the central government, contain various information about the social and economic life at the local level. In this study, it has been investigated Antalya province budgets for 1914-1919 and provided information about the city's economic and social structure. In budgets, local revenues are predominantly composed of the province's own revenues and transfers from central government revenues. In the expenses, the provincial administration has given priority to the areas that the people need, and in this context, they have allocated a significant amount of funds to education, health, transportation and economic services.
