İnsanlık tarihi boyunca doğal felaketler, savaşlar ve terör gibi olaylar insanların yaşadıkları yerleri terk ederek mülteci durumunagelmelerine neden olmuştur. Mülteci; ülkesinde ırk, din, sosyal konum, siyasal düşünce ya da ulusal kimliği nedeniyle kendisini baskıaltında hissederek kendi devletine olan güvenini kaybeden, kendi devletinin ona tarafsız davranmayacağını düşüncesi ile ülkesini terkedip, başka bir ülkeye sığınma talebinde bulunan ve bu talebi o ülke tarafından 'kabul' edilen kişidir. Dünyada bulunan mültecilerinyarısından fazlasını çocuklar oluşturmaktadır.Son yıllarda değişen dünya düzeni nedeni ile mülteci sayısında çok büyük artış olmuştur. Türkiye coğrafi konumu, kültürel ve tarihselilişkileri nedeniyle en büyük mülteci nüfusuna ev sahipliği yapan ülke konuma gelmiştir.Bu makalenin amacı, doğal felaketler ya da savaşlar gibi çeşitli nedenler ile mülteci durumda olan çocukların yaşadığı sorunları güncelliteratür ışığında sunmaktır. Türkiye’de bulunan mültecilerin büyük bir çoğunluğu Suriye’den geldiği için Suriyeli çocukların yaşadığısorunlar bilimsel araştırmalar, istatistiki veriler ele alınarak incelenmiş, istatistiki verilerden elde edilen bulgularla grafikleroluşturulmuştur.
Events such as natural disasters, wars, and terror during the history of mankind have caused people to leave places they live and to be refugees. A refugee is a person who loses confidence in his state by feeling under pressure because of race, religion, social status, political thought or national identity and who leaving his country to seek asylum in another country and this request is accepted by that country as in the belief that his own state will not act impartially. More than half of the world's refugees are children. In recent years there has been a huge increase in the number of refugees due to the changing world order. Turkey has become the host country of the largest refugee population because of her geographical location and cultural relations and historical associations. The purpose of this article is to present the problems experienced by their children in the light of current literature who are refugee for various reasons such as natural disasters or wars. A large majority of refugees in Turkey as they came from Syria, the problems of the Syrian children has examined by taking scientific research and statistics so graphics were created with the findings obtained from statistical data.
