Abstract

Technology transfer is a broad set of processes covering the flows of know-how, experience, and equipment among different stakeholders such as Governments, private sector entities, financial institutions, nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), and research/educational institutions (IPCC 2000b). Technology is the transfer of scientific knowledge to life (Özçatalbaş 2014). It is very important to be capable of producing technology, because of global competition and for the welfare of society. Technology transfer provides significant advantages for the owner of the technology. Accordingly, technology transfer refers to the competitiveness of countries or firms on a global scale.
